Our Minister
|
Reverend Kofi Tekyi-Ansah As a former school teacher, I received the call into the ministry and was ordained in 1999, my ministerial training was at Wesley College Bristol. I have previously served in the Ormskirk and the Oldham & Saddleworth Circuits, and latterly in the Hazel Grove & Poynton Ciircuit, with responsibility for Dialstone Lane, Offerton and Windlehurst Churches. A native of Ghana, I have committed my life to serving and helping God’s people, regardless of background, to achieve their fullest potential in God, and for the local churches to make a positive impact in the community. Having started my iterant ministry 14 years ago, my passion is following Jesus’ preaching, teaching and healing ministry; and because I believes that miracles are an integral part of the ministry of Christ and the church, I have a deep yearning to see the Spirit of God work in people’s lives in this way. Kofi received a bachelor’s degree in theology and religious studies at Bristol University and is known for his practical approach to the Bible and has encouraged many to pursue a personal relationship with God and receive divine healing. He is married to Bertha, a staff nurse, also a native of Ghana, and enjoys watching sports in general, especially football, and loves reading and walking, among his many interests. |
