Sunday 12th December - Services

11.00 Holy Communion service led by Rev Cathy Bird

2.30 - 4.00 Starting with hot drinks and mince pies until 3.15, we intend this to be an outdoor service at the front of church of Christmas Readings and Carols accompanied by our musicians. There will be some seating and a fire pit, and a new outdoor Nativity Scene designed by Susan Conlon.
All are welcome; come well wrapped! We may need to seek shelter in the church if the weather is too wet, windy or cold.

Offers of mince pies will be gratefully received by Catriona Stoker (Tel 487 2010) during the coming week.

Sunday 19th December – Service

11.00am This is an “Own Arrangement” service and will be a service of Christmas readings and carols, put together and led by Sheila Hulme.

Friday 24th December - Candlelit Carol Service

6.00pm – To maintain our Covid social distancing we will be able to spread into the coffee lounge as well as use the Church for this generally well attended service, hopefully with the addition of visuals as well as sound in there, thanks to the help of Stephen Tunnicliffe.
Anyone willing to help with setting up the tea lights, candles, lanterns, etc in church and the coffee lounge, would be welcome to come to church for 3.00pm on Thursday 23rd December. We will then be able to judge the effect as it gets dark. The Stewards would also appreciate help in tidying up after the service.

The collection will be for the work of Action for Children, as has been our tradition for many years.

Saturday 25th December – Christmas Day service

11.15 am - All will be welcome to this service; there is no need to book in as we did last year.
